Custom packaging for powders and blends

Spice & Seasoning Packaging

Ground spices and seasoning blends lose aroma quickly and clump when they pick up moisture. Fine powder can also settle in the seal area during filling. We look at barrier, sealant and closure choices together so the package protects the product and still seals reliably.

What the package must do

Specified around the product, not a catalog.

Product sensitivity, filling method, shelf presentation, distribution and order profile all shape the format and material structure we recommend.

Aroma & moisture barrier

Structures can be selected to help retain volatile oils and limit moisture pickup that leads to caking.

Powder in the seal area

Sealant choice, seal pattern and filling setup are reviewed so dust in the seal zone is less likely to cause weak seals.

Pouches or rollstock

Zipper pouches with windows for retail, or printed rollstock for sachets and stick packs on automated lines.

Technical considerations

Questions we work through with your team.

Seal contamination
Share your filling method — auger, cup or manual — so seal design can account for powder carry-over.
Aroma migration
Strong blends can transfer odor. Barrier layers help keep aroma in the pack and out of neighboring products.
Window vs. light
Some colors fade under light. We discuss window size and placement for color-sensitive spices.
Many small SKUs
Large spice ranges often suit digital printing across many artworks at modest quantities.
